In short
One calendar across every job, for the things that have to happen on a date. It also publishes to the calendar app you already use.
The calendar covers the parts of a job that have to happen on a particular day: subs, inspections, deliveries, client meetings and milestones. It spans every job, because the conflict you care about is between two jobs rather than inside one.
Views
Agenda is a flat list of what is coming and the best view on a phone. Day and Week are time grids for scheduling around each other. Month is the wall-planner view.
Drag on empty space to create something, drag an existing block to move it, and drag its top or bottom edge to change its length. Moving an event to another day keeps its time of day, since a nine o'clock start is usually still a nine o'clock start.
Events
An event has a kind, an optional job, a status, and a free-text contact name. Colors come from the job, so the same job always looks the same across every view.
The contact name is what powers conflict detection: if the same person is booked in two places at once, both are flagged. It is text rather than a formal contact record on purpose, because you schedule people you have not set up records for.
Subscribing from your phone
Generate a subscribe link in settings and add it to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Your schedule then appears next to everything else in your day, which is where you will actually look at it.
The link is the only credential, so treat it like a password.
Important
Regenerating the link immediately breaks every existing subscription, including your own. That is the point: it is how you cut off a link that got shared too widely. Expect to re-add the calendar on each device afterwards.
Subscribed calendars refresh on their own schedule, which the calendar app decides rather than this app. A new event can take a little while to appear on a phone. It is not lost.
The feed is a Premium feature, and a workspace that drops to free stops publishing rather than continuing to leak a schedule to whoever still has the link.
